Arcblock (ABT) - Room for 100x?

Pumped strong last month, how HIGH can it go?

Arcblock has one of the best stories in Crypto. Meticulously built by a Chinese software engineer now living in Seattle, Arcblock wants to be the standard for decentralized project development.

Age: 7 yrs

Current Market Cap: $215,000,000

Total Supply: 186,000,000 (no plans for inflation near term)

Circulating Supply: 98,580,000 (51%)

Whale Holdings (> 5%): 47%

What is the project?

  • Multi-product 'decentralized' dApp development platform with bolt-on apps

  • Has an “app store” for developers to sell their dApps on

  • Core product is an operating system for dAppss called a Blocklet

    • Payment processing, no cost

Tokenomics

  • Very low supply, 186,000,000, 53% circulating, not inflationary

    • Most of 47% whale holdings appear to be in treasury

  • Zero gas fees adn support of any layer 2 chain

  • Additional chains are buildable on-top of ABT, inheriting it’s propertis

Team & Community

  • Robert Mao, CEO and Chief Architect is a visionary entrepeneur

    • check out his blog (build using Arcblock) at RobertMao.com

  • Community forums are built in Mao fashion, in house and hosted on the Arcblock website

Financial partners

  • Raised during the wild west ICO days, 7 years ago

Risks & Downsides

  • Disappointing price action last bull cycle because product was not ready, has improved since Dec '23

  • Lack of transparency from centralization is a risk, but changes to governance action can be made much more quickly

  • Adoption will depend on developer experience, other options available

  • Scaling a company this size is very difficult, and a different skill set then building a great project. Does Mao have the skills to operate a large enterprise, or will he be able to hire it out?
